Nancy McKinley is a founding faculty member of the Graduate Program
in Creative Writing at Wilkes University. Her fiction and creative nonfiction,
including three Pushcart Nominees, appear in print and online publications
including Main Street Rag Short
Fiction Anthologies: Commutability,
Tattoos, Coming Home, and Big Water; The Cortland Review; Becoming
Anthology: What Makes A Woman (U of Nebraska-Gender Programs); Colorado
Review; and Blue Lake Review.
Her novel, Travels with a Nuclear
Whore, won the creative writing component for the Thayer Fellowship. As
Scholar-in-Residence for the PA Mechanicsburg Museum, she developed the interactive
online narrative If You Lived at the
Stationmaster’s House. Her narrative for the Cumberland County Historical
Society Virtual Tour won the PA Museum Director's Award.
